Crossroads Cafe, one of the favourite spots on Orchard Road is bringing back with five limited edition gourmet burgers for burger enthusiasts for February and March!
Leaving behind its days as a poster boy for fast-food, the burger has now found its way into the gourmet line-up. Citing the popularity of signature Wagyu Burger – a popular pick off the Crossroads Cafe’s menu, Executive Chef Kevin Thomson says: “Burgers may seem like simple fare, but it has always been one of the best-loved comfort food. People now just want better versions of it. Our gourmet burgers allow no substitutes for healthy, fresh produce, top-grade ingredients and handmade patties.”
For the meat lover – simply savour the 100% Angus Beef Patty, topped with Smoked Corn, Coriander and Tomato Relish, Avocado, and Emmental cheese, all on an aromatic Onion bun!
Sweet and smoky, be wowed by the Teriyaki-glazed Ground Sirloin 100% Angus Beef Patty with Baby Spinach on a Brioche bun. The Chilli-caramelised Pineapples sandwiched in between will give you an extra spicy kick!
Italian Burger (contains pork)
Mamma Mia! The Oregano and Bell Pepper handmade 100% Angus Beef patty, with all Italian goodness such as Prosciutto, Balsamic Mushrooms, Mozzarella cheese, Pesto Mayonnaise and Arugula, on a Focaccia bun. It can’t get more Italian than this.
Beef patty for all burgers? Think again. The Indian Burger, with its Tandoori lamb patty, further enhanced with cabbage, mint cucumber yoghurt, spicy tomato and onions, all on a Cumin bun will tantalise your palates in a way you’ve never imagined!
Aussie Burger (contains pork)
The Aussie Burger is an all-round crowd pleaser. With a thick beef patty, topped with cheddar cheese, beet root, a fried egg, and generous slices of bacon, the burger tastes straight out of Australia, leaving you wholly satisfied.
Gourmet Burger is available at SGD29++, served with choice of French fries or Mixed Leaf Salad.
