Chef John Evans joined Singapore Marriott Hotel as Executive Pastry Chef in May 2013, helming the pastry kitchens and team. Since on board, Chef John has been busy reinventing the dessert menus, creating new cakes, and providing sweet delights for guests.
Having started on his journey since 1976, John is clearly a master in his field. He has also been an Executive Pastry Chef for more than 21 years for many International Hotel chains in cities all over the world such London, Oman, Bangkok, Jordan, Kuwait, Russia, Mumbai, etc. A few of notable appointments were in Connaught Hotel London a Michelin Star Restaurant, and the Grand Hotel Europe in St. Petersburg Russia.
When not in the kitchen, John spends his free time exploring with his wife, enjoying music, and of course, cooking.
